This NON-flyable replica airplane that has been used for display purposes only. There is no motor or prop included in this auction. This auction includes the Pouduciel Flying Flea (yellow) plane with the life size mannequin that is seated in the plane. Also included is the display stand (wooded) that the plane is presently sitting on with the documentation/books/brochures shown in the pictures. This item would be great for a collection, restaurant, museum or man cave. Please pick up only, we will help you load.

P-51D Mustang “The Shark” Offered For Sale

P-51D Mustang “The Shark” (S/N 44-73877 / G-SHWN) has hit the market. The listing states (in part):

The Shark was built by North American Aviation in July 1945 and served with the USAAF at several training units before being transferred to the Canadian Airforce where it served from 1951 – 1959. It was bought by a civil owner in 1980 and restored as ‘Old Crow’

The machine currently wears the colors of 112 Squadron RAF. It is reportedly powered by a Packard Merlin V12 – V-1650-7 which has flown 105 hours since overhaul by Eye Tech Engineering Ltd. The airframe has reportedly flown a total of 1562 hours since overhaul in the US.

NO RESERVE 1946 Beech D18-S time capsule. In storage as seen in photos since 1991 when owner lost medical. Engines turn freely. Airframe is immaculate and low time. Original autopilot installed. Incredible piece of history. Has spar strap, metalized control surfaces. Digital Cd from faa available with all 337’s. logbooks have been lost. Will require all ad’s complied with. Aircraft is registered in my name. Original interior including rare cabin to cockpit door normally removed.

A 1942 Stinson L5 “entry level warbird” (S/N 42-14835-A / N8224P) has hit the market. The listing states (in part):

This Stinson L5 flew for the CAF for a number of years. She has less than 800 hrs on the airframe and engine since full restoration. The Lycoming 0-435-1 was purchased in 2015 and was top overhaul after it with chromed cylinders and new rings. It only has approx 20 hours on engine since top overhaul and burns about 1/2 qt of oil per hour. Latest compression check done Aug.2018 all cylinders 75/80 or better. New ACK model E-04 ELT, New ELT battery good till 6/23. New Trans Cal encoder. Trimble TX 760D comm and King KT 76A transponder. Dave Clark Intercom. New Concord Battery. Many spare parts. Completely restored from 1996 to 2005. Fabric is very good. Always hangared. Annual completed 8/2018. Transponder and encoder check 8/ 2018.

The airframe reportedly has a total time of 5,000 hrs, while the Pratt & Whitney R-1340 has 490 SMOH by Aero Engines. Additional features include an avionics package, preoiler, Redline wheels and brakes, new seats and original exhaust.

According to the listing, the machine is an SRA Fly-In trophy winner in “excellent condition with standard airworthiness certificate.” It is reportedly equipped with a 450 hp Pratt & Whitney 985 rebuilt By Covington and has a total time of 4,000 hrs with 175 SMOH. Additional features reportedly include an avionics package and “fresh annual with sale.”

Supermarine Spitfire XIVe RN201 Offered For Sale

Supermarine Spitfire XIVe RN201 (N201TB) has hit the market. The listing states (in part):

“Post WWII, this Spitfire XIVe was part of the Belgian Air Force. It was displayed on a pole at a Belgian Air Force Base from 1953-1990. In 1990 it was sold to a British buyer who returned the Spitfire to the UK. It was restored by Historic Flying Ltd. between 2000-2002. It was then sold to the current owner in 2007 who has operated the Spitfire in the United States ever since. In 2007 this Spitfire won the EAA Grand Champion Award at Sun N’ Fun in Florida.”

The airframe has reportedly amassed only 117 hrs since restoration, which included new wing spars and the replacement of all rivets with aluminum rivets. Supermarine Spitfire IXe PL344 Offered For Sale

Supermarine Spitfire IXe PL344 (N644TB) has hit the market. The listing states (in part:)

This Spitfire IX was recovered from a Technical School in Holland in the early 1980’s and restored by Charles Church Spitfires Ltd. and registered in the UK as G-IXCC. Its first civilian flight was in March 2001. It was sold to Kermit Weeks and re-restored to original military configuration by Personal Plane Services. It was then sold to the current owner in 2001 who had the aircraft overhauled and repainted by A.R.C.O. in the UK before shipping the Spitfire to the United States.

The airframe has reportedly amassed only 182 hrs since restoration, which included new wing spars and the replacement of all rivets with aluminum rivets. The Rolls Royce Merlin 266 engine reportedly has 171 hrs SMOH by Vintage V-12s. The machine is currently being offered for £2,500,000. Click here or here to check out complete listings.
