HpH Shares New Detail Photos of Upcoming 1/48 B-52 Stratofortress Kit

HpH Models has shared a new series of detail images for their upcoming 1/48 B-52 Stratofortress model kit.

As previously reported, the kit is part of the company’s “extreme” line, which also includes a 1/48 B-36 Peacemaker. It will reportedly include fiberglass main assemblies, vacuum cast resin details and clear parts made of transparent resin. F-86F S/N 52-4689 (N8630), based at the Vintage Flying Museum in Ft. Worth, Texas, is currently available for sale. The listing states:

F-86F-30-NA S/N 52-4689 N8630 and nearly 1600 line items of equaling about 9000 items. The spares include 3 GE J-47 engine cores in cans, combustion burner cans, brakes, flight controls, drop tanks/pylons, a set of wings, actuators, valves, and much more. This F-86F has the desirable and larger “6-3” wing. It last served in the Bolivian Air Force. The aircraft has been stored in the museum’s hangars since it arrived in 1994. It is a VERY stock aircraft. There are no logbooks for the aircraft or engines and the aircraft does not have an airworthiness certificate.

MiG-21 PFM “Fishbed-F” Offered For Sale

MiG-21 PFM Type 94A “Fishbed-F” S/N 4102 has hit the market.

The listing states that the airframe has 1,295 Hrs TTSNEW, while the R11-37F engine has 270 hours SMOH (TBO 300, Overhauls Allowed:4; Engine Preserved 3-28-91). The MiG has been on indoor museum display since about 1996 and an ATF-6 import approval and bill of sale is provided. It is not currently FAA registered or flyable and records are reportedly incomplete.

1951 Grumman HU-16B Albatross Offered For Sale

1951 Grumman HU-16B S/N 51-7226 (N226CG) has hit the market.

The airframe reportedly has 7160.3 TTSN (822.2 hrs since restoration) while the two Wright R-1820 engines have 193.3 and 283.9 SMOH by Airmotive Inc. Additional features are said to include an avionics package, 10 passenger interior (good condition) and A,B,C,D checks completed 5/2019. A huge selection of spares, many NOS, are also available at an additional cost.

The helicopter comes with logs and data plate, it does not have airworthy rotor components. All are timed out and from other aircraft. The aircraft has a transmission case but no engine.

“In Annual” PZL Iskra TS-11 Offered For Sale

A 1968 PZL Iskra TS-11 Polish jet trainer has hit the market. The listing states (in part):

Current FAA reg in my name. Airworthiness category, Experimental Exhibition. King digital IFR. Transponder and altimeter recertified, will need pitot static test before next IFR flight. Copy of operation limitations, certificate of airworthiness, and registration in cockpit. All logs since import. Military logs are not available. NDH. No corrosion.These planes were made for the Polish Navy and are made of a high copper content marine alloy that is very corrosion resistant. All known available flight and maintainence manuals in English, included. Plane self starts easily, with its on board Optima battery bank. Many spares included free, including a couple spare sets of new tires, some mounted. Spare canopy, in case your passenger pulls that lever!, and a hydraulic mule that lets you easily test the speed brakes, flaps, brakes and do a gear swing. Cold ejection seats.
