N75926 is a well-maintained Cessna 172N training aircraft with a total time of 10,250 hours. The Lycoming O-320 H2AD engine was overhauled by Signature Engines in November 2022 and has 1,575 hours since major overhaul. This aircraft features modern avionics, including a G5 Attitude Indicator, G5 Horizontal Situation Indicator, Garmin 430W GPS, and a Garmin 335 Transponder with ADSB out. The interior has been updated in 2023, with seats covered in faux leather, making it a favorite among students, CFIs, and renter pilots. It is a pleasure to fly and is ready for its next adventure. The annual inspection was completed on October 1, 2025.

The F-14 and its Final Mission Detailed in Lavishly Illustrated New Book

Coming soon from Osprey and author Tony Holmes is The Last Catfight: The F-14 Tomcat’s final combat cruise, a lavishly illustrated celebration of the much loved workhorse of the US Navy – the F-14 Tomcat – and a unique insight into its crucial final operational tour over the skies of Iraq.

The Last Catfight charts the combat experiences of the US Tomcat crews that took the jet into action during Operation Iraqi Freedom, flying hundreds of missions all over strife-torn Iraq to try to ensure the safety of Coalition troops on the ground. The F-14 units played a key part in protecting the polling stations during two vital government elections held in 2005, and were also in the vanguard of Operation Steel Curtain, when the US Marine Corps went head-to-head with al-Qaeda near the Syria/Iraq border.

Combat accounts from the men and women flying these missions bring the F-14’s exploits to life as Grumman’s last fighter is put through its paces in the world’s most demanding combat environment. Whether conducting convoy patrols, looking for IEDs, chasing insurgents through the streets of Baghdad, destroying bomb-making factories or strafing and bombing enemy strongholds, the Tomcat was never found wanting thanks to the professionalism of the crews and the new technologies debuted by the iconic naval fighter on its very last cruise.

Aviation author and editor Tony Holmes has interviewed the commanding officers, pilots and radar intercept officers, and their first-hand accounts are featured alongside a stunning array of colour photos.

The 320 page, hardcover book is currently available for pre-order with release slated for February 12.

The aircraft has no damage history, has always been hangared, and was never used for flight training. Avionics include Dynon D100 and D120 PFD/MFD, Dynon AP74 two-axis autopilot, Garmin SL30 NAV/COM, GTX 335 ADS-B Out transponder, Garmin GDL50 ADS-B In, Garmin Aera 796 GPS, and a PM3000 audio panel. The aircraft is equipped with a Sensenich three-blade propeller and has recently received updates including replacement fuel sensors and fuel pressure sensor, with new fuel lines currently being installed. Avro Vulcan In Scale: An Essential Resource For Modelers

The Avro Vulcan, arguably the best known of the British ‘V-Bombers’, was an integral part of Britain’s nuclear deterrent. During the Cold War several RAF squadrons were equipped with Vulcans, including some assigned to Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) sorties to counter immediately any threat launched by the Soviet Union. The Vulcan was also suited to conventional bombing missions. In 1982, in Operation Black Buck during the Falklands War, Vulcan B.2s carried out the longest-ranged bombing raids in history up to that time.

English Electric Canberra B.2 WJ640 Takes Center Stage With New Tool Airfix Kit

Another new tool Airfix release slated for 2026 is a new tool English Electric Canberra B.2 in 1/72 scale.

The kit (A05065) chronicles the service of B.2 airframe WJ640 from 1968 to its retirement in 1981, showcasing the evolving RAF Canberra paint schemes of the era. It was designed based on Lidar scans and original drawings of the full-size aircraft, as well as research input from the Canberra Heritage Trust.

In addition to three livery options worn by WJ640, it will include over 170 parts, detailed cockpit and bomb bay and representation of 1000lb bombs. It is currently slated for release sometime this summer. Click below to check out newly released renderings.
