O-200 100HP, Wagner STC 1350lb MTOW (NOT LSA) 1994 Restoration with no expense spared! 91 Hours Since Complete restoration. Overhauled carb in 2016, Rebuilt OLEO Struts at 2018 Annual, September 2019 Annual needed nothing but an oil drain plug! Overhauled Carb in 2016, Rebuit OLEO Struts at 2018 Annual. Family owned since 1994. Still has original military data plate! Electric System (No hand propping) 12V plug in it to keep your electrics charged! Have copies of the logs when it was in the military and even a copy of the transfer sheet from Aeronca to the military! Times will change as it’s still flown. Hangered since restoration.

Three examples of the Blackburn Buccaneer S Mk 2B are currently available for sale. The listing states (in part):

The Blackburn Buccaneer was a British low-level strike aircraft with nuclear weapon delivery capability serving with the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force between 1962 and 1994, including service in the 1991 Gulf War. Designed and initially produced by Blackburn Aircraft at Brough it was later known as the Hawker Siddeley Buccaneer when Blackburn became a part of the Hawker Siddeley group. The final three, all owned by Thunder City (XW 986 – now ZU NIP , XW 987 – now ZU BCR and XW 988 – now ZU AVI ) were built specifically for the Defence Ministry (MoD) and primarily used on countless research programs.

According to the listings, the aircraft have been subjected to regular Primary Star inspections and have been modified to the latest modification state as defined in the Master Modification Listing. All mandatory modifications have been complied with and all STIs and SIs have been complied with, including all NDT requirements. A full set of manuals relating to the maintenance of the aircraft is also said to be available.

The machines are reportedly fitted with Rolls Royce Spey 10101 engines, Martin Baker Type 6MS B2 rocket assisted ejection seats and a range of radio equipment, including Marconi AD120 VHF Comm, Plessey PTR 1751 UHF Comm, Hoffman RT636 TACAN, Cossar 1520 Transponder, Smiths ILS System and Smiths Radio Altimeter.

An “extremely rare” Wilhelm Morell German aircraft airspeed anemometer has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

Original German airspeed instrument (anemometer) by Wilhelm Morell, Leipzig in original box! Circa – 1917 / 18. Number: 113981. This type of airspeed instrument was usually fitted to a wing strut within sight of the pilot. The brass ‘cups’ rotated to display the aircraft speed in Km/h. In excellent untouched original condition, retaining almost all of its German military black paint. The brass cups are spinning easily, I think it’s working.

“Mostly Complete” Jurca P-51 Restoration Project Offered For Sale

An 80% Jurca P-51 restoration project has hit the market.

According to the listing, the aircraft was started in the late 1970s and began flying in the 1980s, making several trips to Oshkosh and other airshows over the years. It reportedly incorporates a steel tube fuselage was featured in a 1991 edition of Sport Pilot magazine.

This aircraft is mostly complete. To my knowledge all that is missing is a prop, spinner, lower cowling, and the wing-root fillets. All landing gear is complete. Cooling system is complete, inner and outter gear doors are there and in very nice condition. Doghouse scoop is there, upper cowling with coolant header tank is accounted for. Cockpit is complete and it has toe brakes. This plane was built as a two seater and still has the rear seat mounts with seat belts. The engine is a 400 Ford and it is assumed that it is a core needing rebuilt. The reduction unit is a Geschweinder geared unit that turns very smooth and is tight.

The listing also states: “The aircraft and all its parts will move easily on a 20′ car trailer… There are roughly 150 hours on the airframe. All build papers and plans are included.”

Aircraft is in excellent condition with low airframe/engine hours, and would be a good candidate for restoration or museum display. Always kept in hangar with many spares including new flight control surfaces, spare canopy, ejection seat parachute, new airframe hoses (from Specialty Hose Co), new set of landing gear and drop tanks. Also comes with ground handling/servicing equipment including tail support cart, tow bar, super bee ground power cart, ground power rectifier (with adapter plug), and strut/nitrogen bottle servicing adapter fittings. Complete engine and airframe logs included with English translation, as well as set of maintenance manuals and aircraft inspection program.
