An “under restoration” Vickers Supermarine Spitfire LF Vb (BL688) is available for sale. The listing states (in part):

An incredible investment opportunity to acquire probably the longest documented combat history of a WW2 Spitfire in the world today! BL688 was delivered into service on the 25th of January 1942 and served until 29th of May 1945. It served with five RAF Fighter Squadrons, as well as the USAAF 335 FG & US Navy on D-Day. So far, 47 Allied pilots have been identified from Australia, Canada, Caribbean, Free French, India, Poland , UK , New Zealand and USA. Some of the men served only a short period and met their fate in combat against the enemy. Others flew BL688 with distinction and survived the war and went onto achieve great things.

The dash 29 wing is the only one in civilian hands, a 15,000 hour wing with a current time of approximately 800 hours. “Restored, Licensed, Flying” 1943 Curtiss P-40N-1 Offered For Sale

1943 Curtiss P-40N-1, S/N 42-104687 (VH-ZOC), has hit the market. The listing states (in part):

VH-ZOC Curtiss P-40N Kittyhawk c/n 28449. Built to USAAF order as 42-104687 but diverted to the RNZAF as Kittyhawk Mk IV NZ3215. Sold for scrap post-War and remained at Asplin’s Supplies, Rukuhia New Zealand, 1952-60. Rescued and the hulk was eventually purchased by Allan Arthur and exported to Australia. Restoration work at Wangaratta and Deniliquin. Restoration completed at Pioneer Aero, Ardmore, New Zealand. Restoration completed 2006. Shipped to Australia in August of 2006 and registered VH-ZOC. The P-40N is painted in RAF 112 (Shark) Squadron green livery (with Code GA-Q). RAF 112 Sqn fought against Rommel in the Middle East during WWII.

According to the listing, the airframe has 265 hrs since restoration by Pioneer Aero, while the Allison V-1710-115 engine has 265 hrs SMOH by Cascade Engines. A water damaged radial Pietenpol project has hit the market. The listing states (in part):

it was somewhat submerged in 2011. It was washed and engine flushed then. About five years ago engine was serviced and ran. Its complete except propeller (not included). Basically selling engine and throwing in airframe. Airframe needs rebuilt, and all instruments are shot. have all paperwork except early engine logs. The engine logs were started at top overhaul in 1991. 2 hrs airframe and engine since toppped. This is sold AS-IS no warranties. These engines are rarely for sale. Perfect fit for ww1 replica.
