“Very Clean, Externally Complete, Static” BAE Hawk Offered For Sale

BAe ASTRA Hawk T1 XX341 is currently available for sale. The machine was built in 1981 and has reportedly amassed 2871 airframe hrs with 4631 landings. The listing states (in part):

XX341 is a one of a kind aircraft known as the Advanced Stability Training and Research Aircraft, ASTRA Hawk for short. XX341 was one of 3 BAe Hawk T1 aircraft ordered for the Empire Test Pilot School in 1981. This example was the 1st Hawk delivered to the school. 3 years later the aircraft was chosen to be radically modified to become the ASTRA Hawk.

The aircraft is described as “an externally complete static display/museum exhibit” in “very clean and tidy external condition.” It was “recently retired and never kept outside.” It is located in England with pricing available upon request. Click here to check out the complete listing.

Here we have a unique opportunity to own your own Hawk project. Basically on offer: 1 main fuselage on 4 wheel stand. 2 new front Cockpit cone 3. Boxed complete front windscreen assembly and glass + spare glass. 4. Cockpit canopy. 5. Panel 6 . 3 Red Arrow top panels from XX 304, crashed and pilot ejected in 1988. 7. Ram 8 . Full-Scale BAE Hawk Cockpit Reproduction Offered For Sale

A full-scale, static reproduction of a BAE Hawk cockpit in in Red Arrows color scheme has hit the market.

The section is reportedly made from fiberglass and plywood and is believed to have been “a group apprentice test piece.” It contains “no serviceable aircraft parts” but is said to be “an excellent starting point for any future simulator or display project.”

The cockpit includes an ejector seat that is lying down inside the cockpit as well as a trailer. It is located in Leighton Buzzard, UK and is currently available for bidding. Click here to check out the complete listing on eBay.
