“Airworthy and Flying” Fiat G.59-4B For Sale With Major Price Reduction

Fiat G-59-4B S/N MM-53774 (I-MRSV) has received a “major price reduction” and is now being offered for sale at €1,050,000.

The airframe reportedly has 240 hrs since restoration while the Rolls Royce Merlin 500/20 engine has 240 hrs SMOH by Zeuschel Racing Engines. The machine is touted as one of only ten G.59-4Bs built and one of only two “airworthy and flying” examples in existence today. It performed its first post restoration flight on May 25, 1992 from Lido di Venezia Airport with with Guido Zuccoli at the controls.

The aircraft is painted in original Aeronautica Militare Italiana markings and reportedly includes an avionics package consisting of 2 x VHF Bendix King KX155 Comm, 1 x Bendix King KT76A Transponder, ACK 30 Encoder and Bendix King KR87 ADF. Click here to check out the complete listing.

The airframe reportedly has 603 hrs TTSN while the Allison V-1710-111 engine has 300 hrs SMOH by Vintage V-12s. The machine is described as two-place with full dual controls, custom radiator, upgraded landing gear and doors and an avionics package which includes Garmin SL40 Comm, Garmin transponder and Garmin 296 GPS.

A spares package is also available for an additional cost which reportedly includes props, extra radiator and oil coolers, wheels and brakes, hardware, Allison engine (core) and custom tools.

1969 Hawker Siddeley Harrier XW175 (VAAC) is available for sale. The machine is touted as a “significant benchmark airframe” with many claims to fame:

Oldest 2-seater Harrier in existence; Longest serving Harrier ever; 1969 to 2008 last flight: Staggering 40 years service; The last fixed-wing aircraft to launch from HMS Invincible; First Harrier to achieve more than 100 ski jump ramp launches; Only surviving example of a development batch two seat V/STOL ground attack and reconnaissance fighter/trainer. Extensively Restored Spitfire FR XVIIIe For Sale With Reduced Price

Vickers-Supermarine Spitfire FR XVIIIe G-BUOS (S/N SM845) is available for sale with a newly reduced price.

The aircraft was built in Chattis Hill, England in 1945 and delivered to 39 MU (Maintenance Unit) that same year, serving with both the RAF and Indian Air Force. It was one of eight such machines recovered by Duxford-based Ormond and Wensley Haydon-Baillie in 1977 and was later returned to the air by Historic Flying Ltd.

In 2010 the machine suffered a landing accident in Norway and was subsequently returned to the UK, where it received an extensive restoration to flying condition by Airframe Assemblies and Historic Flying Limited. It returned to the air in December 2013.

The airframe reportedly has 246.10 Hours Total Time Since New (71 Hours Since Restoration – 2013), while the Rolls Royce Griffon 65 engine has 71 Hours SMOH by Retro Track and Air. P-40, Among Most Original Remaining Examples, For Sale With Reduced Price

1941 Curtiss P-40E (S/N AK803) is available for sale with a newly reduced price.

The aircraft was delivered to the RCAF in October 1941 and based at an RCAF Station in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, where it saw use in anti-submarine patrols. Later, it was flown 4,000 miles to Annette Island, Alaska (setting a record in the process) before moving on to Boundary Bay near Vancouver, British Columbia, where it performed fighter affiliation work with B-24s and B-25s.

Following a landing accident on Vancouver Island, AK803 was sent to Coates Limited on Sea Island, where it was stripped to bare metal, polished and used as part of a War Bond drive at Brockton Point Oval in Vancouver. We have to offer a Gipsy Major 10 MK2 engine removed from a Chipmunk in 1999 at 2420:05 HRS. There were no defects at time of removal and it has been inhibited and stored ever since. There are two log books with the engine that date back to 1977. There are no ancillaries that come with the engine but we do have cores available of most components should you require them.

“Fully Airworthy” Beech 18 Offered For Sale

Beech Model 18 G-BKGM has hit the market.

The aircraft just completed an epic journey around the USA and Central America and reportedly did so without “a single technical unserviceability, or delay.” The listing states (in part):

Airframe: 11342.6 hrs since 1952 construction. All major mods incorporated (spar-strap etc)

Engines: L/H complete replacement zero-hour unit from Covingtons has 90hrs as of now. R/H was replaced similarly by previous owner about 10 yrs ago and now has 390 hrs on it.

Props: shop overhauled for last CofA in March 2017. They have a three-year shop-visit requirement.

The machine reportedly includes an inventory of extras with “all documents/records” available. It is currently in store at its new base in Warwickshire, UK with viewing by arrangement. Pricing is listed as £165,000 + VAT subject to conditions. Click here to check out the complete listing.
