Zvezda Releases Renderings of Upcoming C-130H “Full New Kit”

Zvezda has released a series of renderings detailing their upcoming C-130H Hercules model kit in 1/72 scale.

The offering is described as a “full new kit,” although additional details, including contents, liveries, pricing and an expected release date, appear to be absent at the moment.

Canadair T-33 With “Avionics Upgrade and Overhaul, Spare Engine” For Sale

Canadair T-33 N467AV (S/N 467) has hit the market. The airframe reportedly has 11405 hours TTSNEW (Time since A.U.P. Upgrade: 606 Hours), while the Rolls Royce Canada Ltd. NENE 10 engine has 850 Hrs SMOH (1800 TBO /mini hot-section completed by Victoria Air Maintenance, 2009).

The AUP project (1996-1999) made the most significant change to the avionics and electronic capabilities for the CT-133 (by Kelowna Flightcraft). This particular T-33s is an AUP aircraft and reportedly incorporates an AN/RC-511(V)- VHF Radio System; Dual AN/AIC-505- Intercommunications System; AN/ARN-147(V)- VOR/ILS System; AN/ARN-149- ADF System; Navigation Switching Unit; AN/APN-194(V)- Radar Altimeter; Dual Annunciator Panels; Dual ADI 350S; Solid State Invertors; Canopy Yoke; AN/ARC-UHF System; Stormscope; 2 Collins TDR-90 Transponders; Dual SSD-120 Encoders; ACK-451 406 ELT. The interior was “completely redone” at AUP with “new panels, placards and detailing.”

A “restored, museum condition” 1966 UH-1H Huey in Medevac configuration has hit the market. The listing states (in part):

The helicopter is an in and out restoration project, in Medevac configuration, the interior was stripped, repainted and re assembled with some newer components and seats, (I can offer litter setup with purchase) the exterior has been completely repainted as well and new letters painted. Potential buyers, please know that this aircraft does not come with data plate or maintenance records, it can’t be made to fly so please don’t ask what it takes to be flyable, is for static purposes only… The aircraft is ready to put in a museum or use at a parade… The aircraft has many of its components, there are some not visible components not installed but, all visible are there for complete static display. The transmission is installed and the engine will be included with the purchase. The helicopter comes with both sets of main and tail rotor blades, i will leave them removed for transportation purposes though…

“Very Clean, Externally Complete, Static” BAE Hawk Offered For Sale

BAe ASTRA Hawk T1 XX341 is currently available for sale. The machine was built in 1981 and has reportedly amassed 2871 airframe hrs with 4631 landings. The listing states (in part):

XX341 is a one of a kind aircraft known as the Advanced Stability Training and Research Aircraft, ASTRA Hawk for short. XX341 was one of 3 BAe Hawk T1 aircraft ordered for the Empire Test Pilot School in 1981. This example was the 1st Hawk delivered to the school. 3 years later the aircraft was chosen to be radically modified to become the ASTRA Hawk.

Kineticmodel Announces Release Date for New F/TF-104G Starfighter Kit

Kineticmodel has announced the upcoming release of their new F/TF-104G Starfighter model kit in 1/48 scale.

The new product (48089) is reportedly based on Kinetic’s new tool F-104G (48083) released last year, and appears to include photo-etched parts and Cartograf decals. It is also labeled as “2 in 1,” which reportedly means that the kit allows either the single or two seat F-104G to be built.

The new F/TF-104G is currently slated to become available by the end of June 2020.
