Great opportunity to find a very stock and complete example of the best early American jet fighter Will make an outstanding static display or could be restored to flying condition, the aircraft has a current FAA registration but is not certified. It is capable of being certified in the Experimental-Exhibition… No Logs or Records other than USAF historical information.
Aircraft is a complete project with many parts that will require a complete restoration.

Skyblazers F-86F For Sale With Newly Reduced Price

North American F-86F N86FR (S/N 31201) has been re-listed for sale with a newly reduced price.

The aircraft was manufactured in 1952 and delivered to FA Argentina as C-109 in 1960. It was recovered from Argentina and assembled in Coleman, TX in 1989, receiving its FAA airworthiness certificate the following year. It is now registered as N86FR and flown as USAF/SkyBlazers 31201 (FU-201).

The airframe reportedly has 4417.4 Hrs TTSNEW, while the GE J-47-GE-27 engine (5970 # Thrust) has 402 Hours SMOH. The machine includes an avionics package as well as two 120 gallon wing aux tanks, smoke system, strobe lights, vertical card compass, recent tires, excellent canopy glass and ELT. It is located at the Valiant Air Command Museum in Titusville, Florida and is now being offered for $250,000. Click here to check out the complete listing.

Offers are now being accepted for a “US registered and FAA certified” Canadair F-86E MK6. The listing states (in part):

A crack in one turbine blade was discovered during 400HR inspection. The turbine wheel can be repaired or the are 3 spare RR Orinda engines that can be purchased with the airplane. We are looking for offers on the airplane. The airplane was operated by Flight Test Systems. It has been stored in Carson City, NV for approximately 10 years.

F-86F-30-NA S/N 52-4689 N8630 and nearly 1600 line items of equaling about 9000 items. The spares include 3 GE J-47 engine cores in cans, combustion burner cans, brakes, flight controls, drop tanks/pylons, a set of wings, actuators, valves, and much more. This F-86F has the desirable and larger “6-3” wing. It last served in the Bolivian Air Force. The aircraft has been stored in the museum’s hangars since it arrived in 1994. It is a VERY stock aircraft. There are no logbooks for the aircraft or engines and the aircraft does not have an airworthiness certificate.

The aircraft was originally manufactured in 1952 and delivered to FA Argentina as C-109 in 1960. It was recovered and assembled in Coleman, Texas in 1989 and received its airworthiness certification a year later. The machine is currently flown as FU-201/S/N 31201.

The airframe has reportedly amassed 4417.4 total hrs, while the GE J-47-GE-2 engine has 402 hrs since major overhaul. The aircraft is equipped with two 120 gallon wing aux tanks, a smoke system, strobe lights, ELT, as well as an avionics package.
