Two examples of the F+W C-3605 “Schlepp” have been spotted for sale.

The F+W C-3605, nicknamed Schlepp (“Tug”) or “Alpine Anteater”, was a target towing aircraft operated by the Swiss Air Force from 1971–1987. The aircraft was developed during the latter half of the 1960s by the Swiss Federal Construction Works (Eidgenoessische Konstruktionswerkstaette) (EKW), renamed Farner Werke (F+W) in 1972, as a conversion of the existing C-3603 ground attack/target towing aircraft. Following a successful prototype conversion in 1968, 23 aircraft were converted between 1971–1973 with 2 still flying in private hands.

Available examples include S/N C-509 (HB-RDH) which is pictured above. The airframe reportedly has 2156.21 TTSN, while the Lycoming T-53-2-7 engine has 837.21 STO (Turbine Time: 837.21). It is painted in its original markings and has a stock military interior in “good condition.” The machine is located in Switzerland with pricing available upon request. The listing states that the airframe has only 200 hours since an Oshkosh award winning restoration by Fagen Fighters, while the Allison V-1710-39 engine has 200 hours since overhaul by ACE Allisons. It is also touted as offering a fresh July annual inspection, May 2018 transponder certification, recent tires, new production radiators by Repli-core and new fuel cells restoration.

Chance Vought F-4U-5N Corsair B/N 123168 (VH-III) has hit the market.

The machine was constructed in 1951 for the US Navy and was later delivered to the FA Hondurena in March 1956 as FAH603. In subsequent years, the aircraft passed through the hands of Hollywood Wings Inc. and the Disney Corporation, which gifted it to RNZAF Museum.
