Brickmania Releases SBD-5 Dauntless LEGO Model Kit

Brickmania has released a new, limited edition SBD-5 Dauntless LEGO model kit.

The offering reportedly includes 595 “new-condition LEGO bricks,” two custom-printed minifigures, and retractable landing gear. The model is also said to include several of the type’s key components, such as dive brakes, rear-facing machine guns, three bombs and an arrestor hook.

Copper State Models Releases New 1/32 Nieuport 17 Model Kits

Copper State Models has announced the release of two new 1/32 Nieuport 17 model kits representing both early and late variants of the type.

Each kit reportedly includes plastic frets, photo etched parts, color instructions, film for windscreen and Cartograf decals with marking options for four machines.

Shipping will reportedly take place after November 20.

Airfix Unveils Upcoming New Tool F6F-5 Hellcat in Massive 1/24 Scale [Video]

At the Telford model show over the weekend, Airfix announced the upcoming release of a new tool F6F-5 Hellcat model kit in 1/24 scale.

The Airfix team has been working on the project for some time, designing a kit with “over 600 parts, extensive detail and four decal schemes.”

Modelsvit Announces Development of New Tool 1/48 P-51H Model Kit

Modelsvit has announced the development of a new tool P-51H Mustang model kit in 1/48 scale.

Details are scarce at the moment, although the company has released the 3D CAD renderings seen above. They have also stated that the new kit is currently slated to become available sometime in 2019.

First Look: Eduard’s Newly Designed and Tooled 1/48 Tempest Mk V

Eduard’s newly designed and tooled 1/48 Tempest Mk V model kit will reportedly be introduced during the upcoming Scale Model World event in Telford, UK on November 10th and 11th.

The kit (82121) will be offered as a ProfiPACK edition representing aircraft manufactured within Series 1. It reportedly includes Eduard sprues, pre-painted PE-sets, a painting mask and Cartograf decals with six marking options.

The kit is currently slated for release in December, although, 200 pieces will reportedly be available for the Telford event. Click below to check out additional images.

Brickmania Releases 1/35 F-4C Phantom II LEGO Model Kit

Brickmania has released a new, limited edition 1/35 F-4C Phantom LEGO model kit.

The offering reportedly includes 1,290 “new-condition LEGO bricks,” two custom-printed minifigures, retractable landing gear and a detailed cockpit with custom printing. The model also includes representations of armament including four AIM-7E Sparrows, four AIM-9 Sidewinders, two MK-77 napalm canisters and a SUU-16/A gun pod.

Tamiya Shares New Photos, Release Date For New Tool 1/48 Spitfire

Tamiya has shared new photos of their upcoming new tool 1/48 scale Spitfire Mk.1 model kit and stated that it will go on sale “around December 22.”

As previously reported, the kit (61119) will reportedly benefit from “new information to make this new release many times more historically accurate.” It will also include parts to recreate various specifications of the Mk. 1 while providing open and closed canopy options, realistic cockpit detailing, photo-etched parts, seated pilot figure and three marking options.

HpH Models Releases New Interior Images of Upcoming 1/32 C-47 Kit

HpH Models has released new images detailing the interior of their upcoming 1/32 C-47 model kit.

As previously noted, two kits will reportedly be made available, beginning with the C-47 and followed by a DC-3. The company states that it is currently finishing work on the C-47, although additional details, including pricing and full kit contents, remain a mystery at the moment.

Freightdog Models To Release Supermarine Seafire Mk Ib Model Kit

Freightdog Models has announced a Supermarine Seafire Mk.Ib model kit in 1/72 scale.

The offering, which is described as “a cooperation with Kovozavody Prostejov,” will reportedly be a “complete kit,” wit injection moulded HQT plastic, additional resin conversion parts and Fantasy Printshop decals for two early and late schemes.
