Eduard Releases New Fw 109A-8 Model Kit

Eduard has released a new 1/48 Fw 190A-8 model kit from “so-called New Generation Tools.”

The kit (82147) reportedly features Eduard plastic parts, pre-painted photo etched parts, a painting mask and marking options for five aircraft, including representations of W.Nr. 350189 of 12./JG 5; W.Nr. 960542 of Stab/JG 4; W.Nr. 171180 of 6./JG 300 (shown on box art above); W.Nr. 172733 flown by Uffz. Beautiful 3/4 scale replica Fock Wulf 190 A-1. Ninety percent complete. Must sell due to illness. All metal air frame. 12 hrs TT engine and airframe. Lycoming GO 435 geared engine 260 hp. Have spare engine for parts also available. New landing gear, trim tabs, cooling fan and baffles. Painted WWII color scheme JG/26 Adolph Galland. Previously appraised as is for $177,000.

Zoukei-Mura Releases Update, New Renderings of Upcoming “Best Ever” Fw 190 Kit

Zoukei-Mura has released an update and new renderings of their 1/32 Fw 190 kit, which is currently in development.

The company states that the process has been “fraught with hurdle after hurdle” but “has at last reached a turning point”:

How should we bring you the SWS take on the famous “butcher bird”?! In search of the answer, we happily enjoyed an indescribable continuation of hardships. But where there’s a will, there’s a way. Just like those wise words, we have begun to see a terrific form of the Fw 190, fit for an SWS kit.

The company had previously stated its desire to make the Fw 190 kit the “strongest,” “most beautiful” and overall best SWS (Super Wing Series) kit ever. The recent update notes that the release will take some time due to “the confirmation of details, negotiation and meetings with the mold production,” but concludes on a positive note: “To all of the worried Fw 190 fans, now it’s just a matter of time and patience.”

“Fw 190 / Yak-3” ASH-82T Engines With Complete Logs Offered For Sale

ASH-82 engines have hit the market.

“O SMOH Czech Mfg. NOT CHINESE. FW190, Yak-3. Reno Racer? Have a spare engine ready to go.”

Variants of the ASH-82 were used to power the Yak-3U and Chinese-built copies have reportedly become “the chosen engine for powering modern 21st century reproductions of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190A built in Germany.” This specific engine is described as an ASH-82T and there are reportedly two engines available, with each said to have complete logs and all accessories.

Eduard to Release New Tool Fw 190A-8/R2 in Upcoming Limited Edition Kit

Eduard has announced the upcoming release of a Limited Edition Reichsverteidigung Dual Combo Fw 190 / Bf 109 model kit in 1/48 scale.

The offering (11119) consists of a brand new tool Fw 190A-8/R2 accompanied by Bf 109G-6/G-14 and will reportedly include pre-painted PE sets, painting mask and Cartograf-printed decals covering “six Sturmbocks from all Luftwaffe Reich Defense Sturmgruppen, and seven escorting Bf 109G.”
