A North American AT-6 project has hit the market. The listing states (in part):

Pratt and Whitney engine has 251 smoh on an older overhaul. Logs available . 12d40 hub included. Center section has had spar replaced and trailing edge. Looks very nice… We don’t know what may be missing but a very large portion of the aircraft is here.

‘Tis The Season: “Custom Built” 1988 AT-6 Pedal Plane Offered For Sale

A “custom built” 1988 AT-6 pedal plane has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

This was custom built from a kit by Pedal Planes of Houston by Jim Wittkamp from a kit made by Aviation Products out of Cedar Rapids, IA. This kit is known as the ‘Oshkosh 88 AT6/SNJ/Harvard’. This was first displayed at the 1988 Oshkosh Air Show… The overall plane is about 53″ wide from wingtip to wingtip and is about 52″ long from the tip of the propeller to the back of the tail wheel. The overall condition is pretty good, but could use some loving care, as there is minor plywood aging and paint missing in various locations.

New Kermie Cam Video Features AT-6 Flight, Voice-Over and Cockpit Tour

For his latest installment of “Kermie Cam,” Fantasy of Flight owner Kermit Weeks has released a new version of his North American AT-6 flight while providing a full review of the machine’s cockpit and a voice-over of the flight, which includes a couple of rolls, 4 point roll and snap rolls.

This particular machine is a AT-6D painted in the colors of the Womens Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) and featuring their mascot “Fifinella” on the cowling.

“Ready to Fly” Harvard IV Offered For Sale

Harvard IV N44110 has hit the market.

The airframe reportedly had 5,808 hrs prior to a “complete, ground up restoration” that also included an “overhauled engine and accessories from Aero-Engine.” Features are said to include a polished 109 inch (-12) prop, fresh (overhauled) fuel bladders (no leaks), electric fuel boost-pump and Emron paint. Both instrument panels are described as “essentially original stock” with the front panel carrying “basic radio with Omni.”

Complete AT-6 / Harvard Mk IV Project Offered For Sale

A 1952 Canadian Car & Foundry Harvard Mark IV / AT-6 (CCF-4-179) has hit the market.

The aircraft, which is described as complete, has reportedly been sitting in a hangar for 30 years and is in need of work to return to the air. It is said to be equipped with a Pratt & Whitney engine / Hamilton Standard propeller, and its log book documents a total time of 7,733.3 hrs.
