North American B-25J N5672V (S/N 10847686) “Betty’s Dream” is available for sale with a newly reduced price.

The airframe reportedly has 668 hrs since complete restoration by Aero Trader of Chino, CA (Dec. 1998) / 5156 Hrs SMOH. The two Wright R-2600-29A engines each have 668 SMOH by JRS. Additional features include an avionics package, IFR certification, authentic, de-milled guns, functional turrets and gun sights and ammo belts and boxes.

Skyblazers F-86F For Sale With Newly Reduced Price

North American F-86F N86FR (S/N 31201) has been re-listed for sale with a newly reduced price.

The aircraft was manufactured in 1952 and delivered to FA Argentina as C-109 in 1960. It was recovered from Argentina and assembled in Coleman, TX in 1989, receiving its FAA airworthiness certificate the following year. It is now registered as N86FR and flown as USAF/SkyBlazers 31201 (FU-201).

The airframe reportedly has 4417.4 Hrs TTSNEW, while the GE J-47-GE-27 engine (5970 # Thrust) has 402 Hours SMOH. The machine includes an avionics package as well as two 120 gallon wing aux tanks, smoke system, strobe lights, vertical card compass, recent tires, excellent canopy glass and ELT. It is located at the Valiant Air Command Museum in Titusville, Florida and is now being offered for $250,000. Click here to check out the complete listing.

A B-25 nose (USAAF USAAC 44-31171) touted as an original and important part of aviation heritage and film history has hit the market. The listing states (in part):

This is an original B-25 nose that was modified for use as a camera nose. It belonged to the legendary John ‘Jeff‘ Hawke and used the spare dome he had for the Battle of Britain Film used on Psychedelic Monster. The nose was fitted to the B-25 now on show in Duxford American Air Museum. I bought it a few years ago and put it into Psychedelic monster colours. My collection is about to go to the next level, so selling her seems a good idea. She is an important part of aviation heritage and film history, but could be put back into standard.

For Sale With Reduced Price: DC-3A With Airframe Spares, Extra Engine

1940 Douglas DC-3A S/N 2239 (N28AA) is available for sale with a newly reduced price.

It was the fifth DC-3A delivered to Braniff Airways in 1940 as N25666. In April 1953 the aircraft was sold to Trans Texas Airways who operated it for the next 15 years. It then flew with various airlines including Eastern Express Airlines, a subsidiary of Eastern Airlines. It was eventually acquired by the late Ron Alexander, who performed an overhaul of the machine, installing a new passenger interior and applying the polished / painted finish. It was sold to the current owner in 2017.

The airframe reportedly has 83,025 TTSN while the two Pratt & Whitney R-1830 engines have 930 and 1479 SMOH. It includes an avionics package, “numerous airframe spares,” and a spare R-1830 engine w/ 650 hrs SMOH.​

Details on the project are scarce, although the listing is accompanied by several photos. It was reportedly “collected in the good old days when airframes, projects, and spare parts were plentiful.”
