MiniArt Releases New P-47D-20RA Thunderbolt Advanced Kit

MiniArt has released their new P-47D-20RA “advanced” kit in 1/48 scale.

The P-47D-20RA was an Evansville-built late-war Thunderbolt variant that kept the P-47’s rugged airframe, eight .50-caliber machine guns, and strong fighter-bomber capability while adding the “universal” wing for bombs or drop tanks and the more powerful R-2800 engine family. It was part of the evolution that made the Thunderbolt one of the U.S. Army Air Forces’ toughest and most versatile WWII fighters.

As previously reported, the offering (48043) represents the type in service during the 1944 the Saipan campaign and includes PE parts, detailed cockpit and exterior surfaces and marking options for four aircraft.

MiniArt Releases Renderings For Upcoming Fw 190D-11 Basic Kit

MiniArt has announced the upcoming release of a new Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-11 “Basic” model kit in 1/48 scale.

The Fw 190D-11 was a late-war variant, part of the “Dora” series and powered by the Junkers Jumo 213F engine with MW 50 boost. It was a heavily armed variant with two 20 mm MG 151 cannon in the wing roots and two 30 mm MK 108 cannon in the outer wings, but it was produced only in very small numbers.

MiniArt Releases New Long Range P-47N-2RE Thunderbolt Model Kit

MiniArt has released their new P-47N-2RE Thunderbolt Basic model kit in 1/48 scale.

Aas previously reported, this particular variant was a long-range version of the famous American fighter. Designed for extended operations, the P-47N featured a distinctive wing shape and increased fuel capacity, making it well suited for late-war escort and ground attack missions.

The kit (48068) is part of a range of new P-47 variants offered by the company. It is described as highly detailed and accurate with photo-etched parts and marking options for two aircraft.

MiniArt is set to add to their growing line of P-47 variants with an upcoming P-47D-20RA “advanced” kit in 1/48 scale.

MiniArt Releases New Fw 190D-9 “Grünherz” Basic Model Kit

MiniArt has released their new Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 “Grünherz” basic model kit in 1/48 scale.

This early-production late-war variant of the Fw 190 was used by Jagdgeschwader 54, whose “Green Hearts” nickname came from its Thuringian heritage. Powered by the Jumo 213 inline engine, it was built to improve high-altitude performance and became one of the Luftwaffe’s fastest and most capable piston fighters, especially in the defense of Germany in 1944–45.

As previously reported, the basic kit (48035) features distinctive late-war Luftwaffe camouflage and two mJG 54 marking options. It is described as detailed, with “clean assembly” and an accurate early production configuration. An advanced version has also been announced for future release.

The offering (48048) is described as highly detailed with accurate Mimetall production configuration, PE parts, detailed cockpit and surface features and decals with multiple marking options.

MiniArt has released their new tool Focke-Wulf 190D-9 (Mimetall) basic model kit in 1/48 scale.

The Focke-Wulf FW 190D-9 was developed as a high-performance fighter to improve high-altitude capability. Aircraft produced by Mimetall were delivered in late-war conditions and often featured simplified finishes. Machines of Jagdgeschwader 301 were among those flown during the final phase of WWII.
