1947 Piper PA-12 Super Cruiser S/N 12-2853 (N14HR) has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

This highly modified Super Cruiser 150 has undergone a complete restoration by George Baker of new Smyrna Beach… The aircraft looks nearly new and shines everywhere!!! This highly modified Super Cruiser has almost every mod available and is now essentially a 3 place Super Cub… Currently in license and flown regularly Offered with a fresh annual at time of sale. Original logs since new. Very well documented and photographed restoration.

According to the listing, the machine has 2385 hrs TTSN, with 120 hrs since complete restoration. The engine has 875 hrs SMOH and the propeller has 925 hrs TSN.

1950 Douglas AD-4N Skyraider Offered For Sale

1950 Douglas AD-4N Skyraider B/N 127002 (F-AZHK) is available for sale.

The airframe reportedly has 4080 TTSNEW (178 Hrs since restoration) while the Wright R3350 26WD engine has 178 Hrs SMOH by Anderson Airmotive. The Aero Products model A642G propeller has 24 Hrs SMOH. The machine features an avionics package and a lengthy list of equipment, including “new paint in 2021 with complete sanding, double protection of all the sheets against corrosion (strontium) and all the sheet joints redone (PR).” It reportedly completed inspection during the winter of 2021/22 and has an airworthiness certificated that is valid until March 2023.

Auster Airframe Project For Sale “Lots of Paperwork, Plans and Drawings Included”

An interesting Auster aircraft project has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

This comprises of a fuselage, two wings, and many parts (tail section, undercarriage legs, doors, seats, floorboards, ailerons, many wooden parts, main struts, and much more not shown in the photos. Not included: instruments, flaps, or secondary struts. The fuselage is believed to have never actually flown as the cockpit floorboard fittings have never been drilled through. It is therefore technically ‘new old stock’. As such the project is registered with the LAA as a ‘replica’ Beagle Terrier 3 currently (to be fitted with a Lycoming O320 engine). I’m sure if you wanted to re-build as a different Auster type, it should be easy to change with the LAA. No engine included!… Lot’s of paperwork, plans and drawings will be included in the sale.
