A 1962 Piper PA-22-108 Colt has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

1285 SMOH; 4098 total Time. The logbooks are complete… The last annual done was 4/16/1994, it has clocked 146 hours since that annual… The fabric looks to be in pretty good shape there is paint chipping on the outside of it but that’s just the outer coat of paint. The fuel lines are rotten and will absolutely have to be replaced aircraft cannot be flown. The fuel mixture cable is stiff I was starting to get it freed up but it will probably need replaced. The throttle cable is operating properly. The starter is operating properly and the motor cranks just fine.

This 140A has a bunch of desirable upgrades… with the most desirable being its Lycoming O-290-D2B conversion (STC SA4-640). This conversion cranks up the power from 90HP to 140HP to make for a hot rod 140. The benefits include a 25% decreased take off run, 200ft per minute higher climb rate, 10 mph cruise speed increase, 10 mph top speed increase, and better performance at altitude all while sipping 6-6.5 gallons per hour! The engine was prop struck during transport, so it wasn’t under power when it occurred, but will need a prop strike inspection.

1946 Aeronca Chief 11-AC N9432E Last annual April 2013 airframe 1623.88 TT engine 1623.88 SN Aircraft was stored covered and flown regularly until 2013. Wings were removed for transport. Will need new aileron cables and the fuel system flushed, possibly the carburetor rebuilt as it has the autogas STC. It will need the wing strut treated for corrosion and inspected per the AD or replaced, reduced price $1000 to accommodate this. Aircraft and fabric in good condition only selling to get my ATP-CTP complete for a job. Have all log books since new.

1948 Cessna 140, the nicest one you will see, left wingtip and elevator damage only, cheap!… Modified as you might expect, with Cleveland disc brakes, 150 exhaust, Hooker shoulder harnesses, bas tail pull handles, Bracket air filter, and auto fuel STC… This show quality plane suffered the indignity of an almost groundloop on landing, where it leaned hard to the left, before coming back onto all 3 gear… no prop strike, or propeller or engine damage at all!… The C-85-12F engine has 1,51 SMOH, 722 since a bottom end overhaul and case replacement, and only 20 hours on the 4 brand new superior cylinders… This s not a dirty messy “project”, this is an easy repair to a fantastic airplane, with a fantastic engine!
