Please Note: This is an archived post. The information presented here may not be current and the associated listing may no longer be active.

A Corben Baby Ace has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

Completed in 2007. First flown in 2011. Low time. Purchased by myself, an Airframe and Powerplant mechanic with my Inspection Authorization. Flown to TN from MI July 2021. Performed a top overhaul December 2021 and got the engine up to snuff to play with. Installed slick magnetos, shielded harnesses and new resistor spark plugs. Hand prop only, no electric system. Fires right up for your true flying, low and slow, stick and rudder, open air fun. It has 111 hours airframe and engine now. Yes, thats correct…… 111 hours! It is a fun little bird. Continental A65 engine with nice 72/42 prop. Run auto fuel if you like. Burns right at 5 gallons an hour in cruise. Cruise with this prop is roughly 80 mph at 2150 rpms. One of the most docile taildraggers I have ever flown. No surprises. Extremely well built. Great forward visibilty over the cowl on the ground.

The aircraft is located in Jacksboro, Tennessee and is currently available for bidding. Click here to check out the listing on eBay.

1948 Ryan Navion Project For Sale

Please Note: This is an archived post. The information presented here may not be current and the associated listing may no longer be active.

A 1948 Ryan Navion project has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

1948 Ryan Navion, 3600 TT, 92 SMOH E-225, beautiful in and out, needs wing, cheap!… The engine was given a major overhaul in 2001, with brand new cyinders and a brand new camshaft, as well as everything else being overhauled!… The Hartzell constant speed prop was disassembled and inspected in 2018 and has only 3 hours on it, because of the “incident”. On approach to land into his home strip, the pilot, who is older than the airplane, misjudged the sink rate and the airplane hit treetops on it’s way to a successful wheels landing. The damage was to the wing outer panels, the nosebowl, 1 blade of the prop, and a tweak to the bottom cowl and a ding to the top cowl… Sold with logbooks for the engine since before the 2001 major, for the airframe since 1991 and for the prop since the 1991 and FAA bill of sale

The project is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is currently being offered for US $8,950, although bids are also being accepted. Click here to check out the complete listing on eBay, which includes many additional details and photos.

If you understand the GO300 and how to run it, this is the one for you! No ADSB but can be added for an additional $4k if you want. Logs since new. Exterior is a 7, the paint is dated 1994 and flaking a little here and there. Otherwise gets lots of compliments! Interior is a 5, needs a carpet kit and some of the interior is pulling away from the trim. Still presentable and looks OK. Auto Fuel STC but I use 100LL. Super clean inside the wings and empennage. Runs cool and smooth oil pressure always in the GREEN. New basic VFR instruments and avionics in 2009 after flood waters crept in. Was treated with corrosion X and still clean as a whistle inside. Not show winner but definitely a solid low time 4 seat Cessna.
