TTAF 3070 TSMO 239, times may change, Annual 10/25, Basic panel, MX170B Nav/COM, Skybeacon ADSB out, lightweight battery, oil filter, Brackett air filter, Air Tech alternator, Niagra Oil cooler, Steve’s Gascolator, Dakota cub fuel selector, sealed struts, Ceconite recover in 1981, fabric is still good, exterior paint is 6/10, interior is 8/10.

Inspected and mostly refurbished… Rebuild project, Fuselage and flight controls covered with brand new Stitts. All new Airtex interior side panels and rear seat still in box. Front seats recovered. Three wings. only three struts. All new Throttle. Mixture and Carb Heat cables. Two windshields one new in box. Propeller looks good. Cables, mostly new all inspected. boxes full of spare instruments and Tripacer stuff. lots of extras but also missing a few things, I am sure

1958 Piper Tri-Pacer Airframe Project For Sale: “Isolated Damage”

A 1958 Piper Tri-Pacer airframe project has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

1958 Piper Tri-Pacer PA-22-160 airframe, isolated damage from hard landing, nice plane, great project!… The owner of this airplane had just spent $18,000 on this airplane to overhaul the engine, with plans to keep it forever. Unfortunately, the engine seized during the test flight, and the owner made an unexpected power off landing back at his home airport of Grants Pass Oregon, but not on the runway! The damage to the aircraft is surprisingly light and easy to repair… The engine was removed for subrigation on the overhauling shop, so it and it’s bolt on accessories are not included here. The airbox and exhaust system are included, and all cables and electrical wires were unbolted, not cut, for easy replacement of the engine. This airplane is very easily fixable, and will make a sweet project, and a sweet airplane to own and fly after repair!

Piper Tri-Pacer Project For Sale: “Great Potential, Engine Fires Right Up”

A 1960 Piper PA 22-160 Tri-Pacer has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

A/W cert. 10-28-1959 all airframe and original engine logs. TTAF 2805.6 Prop 2805.6 TTSMO 1883.6. Currently out of annual (last was 2007 been in hanger since) and would need more than a ferry permit to transport. Cylinders range from 65-75. Was converted to metal skin in 1967 horizontal stab, elevator,and rudder still fabric along with main gear leg’s which are not cotton but need replacement. Slick mags, new exhaust, newer starter, and very nice prop. Engine fires right up and does a full run up with a great mag check. All instruments are functioning and radio / transponder light up and appear functional. This project has great potential for the right person.
