First Look: AFV Club’s Upcoming U-2C Dragon Lady Early/Late Model Kit

AFV Club is slated to release a new U-2C Dragon Lady Early/Late Type model kit in 1/48 scale.

The kit (AR48114) will reportedly include landing-gear doors and airbrake that can be positioned open or closed, accurate cockpit details, appropriate”Type B” camera that can be displayed independently, two intake types, long dorsal electronics fairing and “Sugar scoop” infrared deflector. It is said to also include photo-etched parts and markings for USAF and Republic of China Air Force machines.

A final release date has not yet been announced, although the kit is described as “coming soon.”

First Look: Test Build of AFV Club’s Upcoming New Tool U-2 Dragon Lady

AFV Club has published new test build images of their upcoming U-2A Dragon Lady model kit (AR48112) in 1/48 scale.

Few details are currently available, although the series of images does provide some information regarding kit contents and livery options. ETA has been reported as January 2019.

First Look: AFV Club’s Upcoming 1/144 Folded Wing F4U Corsair Model Kit

Following the release of their highly customizable new tool 1/144 F4U Corsair model kit, AFV Club has announced the upcoming release of a folded wing version.

As of this writing, few details have been reported about the kit (AR14408), although several renderings have been released as well as test sprue and build images. Click below to see more.
