A 1945 SNCAN Stampe SV4C has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

US registered Stampe SV4C, production serial #23, N12433 (aircraft was registered as a 1946 when imported in the US). Experimental, unlimited, airworthiness certificate, 2550 hours total time. Clear title. Aircraft has all logs since new… Aircraft is complete except for the front instrument panel and the correct fuel tank cap… Engine is a 140 hp Renault 4P03 and the serial number matches the number recorded in the European logbooks, 2550 hours total time, (600+ hours SMOH)… Wheels and brakes have been converted to Cleveland wheels and hydraulic disk brakes which greatly increases ground handling capabilities in crosswinds. Aircraft is in storage and will need a through inspection and a current annual condition inspection prior to being flown…

Border Model Dispatches Highly Anticipated 1/32 Avro Lancaster

After delays caused by mold problems and the pandemic, Border Model announced that their new tool Avro Lancaster B Mk.I/III has finally been dispatched.

As previously reported, the 1/32 offering (BF010) boasts a full interior with realistic surface detail, detailed cockpit and Merlin engines as well as high-precision copper metal machine gun barrels.

The kit will is offered in limited quantities, with the company stating: “after this batch of Lancaster is sent, it will not be able to be produced again for a long time. Large molds are very troublesome to repair.”

Roden Releases New NB-36H Crusader Model Kit

Roden has released a new Convair NB-36H Crusader model kit in 1/144 scale.

The Convair NB-36H Crusader was an American research aircraft built in 1955 based on the B-36H bomber to determine the possibility of installing a nuclear reactor and so remain airborne for a long time.

Details on the new offering (#348) are limited, although is is shown as offering the livery of B/N 51-5712: Special Atomic Research Flight, New Mexico, 1956. The kit follows a new tool B-36B released in 2020 and a B-36D/F/H/J released last year.

1958 Piper PA-22/20 Pacer airframe, 3185 TT, mods, beautiful, lite damage. This is a very, very nice Tripacer converted to conventional gear… this airplane was stripped of fabric in 2004, the frame was cleaned and primed and all fabric was replaced with PolyFiber… also in 2004, the interior was replaced with a soft cloth in light tan, new seatbelts installed, the instruments upgraded to all modern gyros in a new metal panel, and the airplane basically freshened everywhere! Hangered ever since… the last annual inspection just expired 7/1/2021… sold with FAA bill of sale, all of the airframe logs since new, lots of other paperwork and the actual original FAA airworthiness certificate from 1958!
