Fokker Eindecker Build Log: RC Conversion, 20.34″ Span [Video]

A new build log from DX Modelworks has been posted which focuses on the legendary 1915 Fokker Eindecker.

This model was built from Gregory Thomas plans and features a wingspan of 20.34″, making it roughly 1/19 scale. The video concisely details the project and the many modifications and details added. Like the channel’s previous videos, its photo documentation and tips will likely be helpful to both new and experienced modelers alike.

Clearprop Releases New Tool DH.9a / Polikarpov R-1 Advanced Model Kits

Clearprop Models has released their new tool Airco DH.9a (CP72027 / early version) and Polikarpov R-1 (CP72026) model kits in 1/72 scale.

The kits are designed for advanced modelers and feature six sprues (one clear), photoetched parts, a colored / detailed assembly guide and decals with marking options for five DH.9a machines and four examples of the Polikarpov R-1 (a redesigned version of the DH.9A which performed its maiden flight in 1923).
