1986 Yak52: Total airframe time 144, M14P time since overhaul 733.3, V530 propeller since overhaul 4 overhauled by Whirlwind propellers. American altimeter, airspeed indicator. Auto plug conversion. Heavy spar and FOD barrier. Recently replaced or repaired:new spark plugs installed at conditional, new PU8 and PU7, pressure regulatorand check valves overhauled, new brake pads installed. Compressed air tank hydroaccomplished. Overhauled front gear selector, gear handle delete in rear. Gear actuators overhauled, newlanding gear air and brake lines installed. Engine hoses recently replaced. Garmin GTR-200 Com with two placeopen intercom intercom. Mic switch wired into originalthrottle switch. GTX327 transponder, Uavionics EchoOut ads-b with traffic in. It’s being flown regularly with no issues.

This aircraft was removed from service following the discovery of a small crack in the centre section of the fuselage. There were discussions regarding a repair schedule to return the aircraft to flight but WP860 has been used as a parts aircraft to keep other Chipmunks flying. Offered for sale here as photographed is the fuselage, seat bases, canopy frame, ex-military logbooks and civilian flying logbooks (G-BXDA).

1946 Aeronca Chief 11-AC N9432E Last annual April 2013 airframe 1623.88 TT engine 1623.88 SN Aircraft was stored covered and flown regularly until 2013. Wings were removed for transport. Will need new aileron cables and the fuel system flushed, possibly the carburetor rebuilt as it has the autogas STC. It will need the wing strut treated for corrosion and inspected per the AD or replaced, reduced price $1000 to accommodate this. Aircraft and fabric in good condition only selling to get my ATP-CTP complete for a job. Have all log books since new.

1948 Cessna 140, the nicest one you will see, left wingtip and elevator damage only, cheap!… Modified as you might expect, with Cleveland disc brakes, 150 exhaust, Hooker shoulder harnesses, bas tail pull handles, Bracket air filter, and auto fuel STC… This show quality plane suffered the indignity of an almost groundloop on landing, where it leaned hard to the left, before coming back onto all 3 gear… no prop strike, or propeller or engine damage at all!… The C-85-12F engine has 1,51 SMOH, 722 since a bottom end overhaul and case replacement, and only 20 hours on the 4 brand new superior cylinders… This s not a dirty messy “project”, this is an easy repair to a fantastic airplane, with a fantastic engine!

Military Aviation Museum Founder Details Search to Save Classic Warbirds in New Book

The Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, Virginia is the largest private collection of vintage warplanes in the US. Now its founder, Jerry Yagen, is sharing details on his effort to save classic warbirds with his new book, Bravo Zulu.

Bravo Zulu is an account of this brainchild of celebrated collector Jerry Yagen and his wife Elaine. These pages recall some of the most exciting war stories ever told and some of the most famous airplanes of all time—from Replica Fokker Dr. I triplanes built to resemble those flown by the Red Baron to painstakingly restored original combat veteran aircraft like the Messerschmitt Bf 109 and Supermarine Spitfire the collection includes many of the most iconic historic aircraft.

Bravo Zulu was created to bring the stories that surround this incredible collection to life, beautifully illustrated with images of the Museum aircraft in flight, this book is the perfect way to experience the collection if you cannot visit the museum.
