1983 Arco Sport II Airframe For Sale: “170 Hrs TT, Hangared and Babied”

Please Note: This is an archived post. The information presented here may not be current and the associated listing may no longer be active.

A 1983 Arco Sport II airframe has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

This is a very nice example of an Acro Sport II, and it is in very nice condition, hangered and babied by both owners! The total airframe time, fully documented by the logbooks since day 1, is 170 hours!… After owning the airplane for 14 years, the pilot got just slightly off-kilter on landing and hit a runway light with the propellor. The light bounced off the leading edge of the right lower wing and put a tear in the fabric underneath the right wing tip… The airframe itself is almost completely undamaged!… This is basically a repower only, not a time consuming project!

the airframe is located in Blairstown, New Jersey and is currently being offered for US $9,495, although bids are also being accepted. Click here to check out the complete listing on eBay, which includes a bevy of additional photos and details.

A 1968 Champion 7ECA project has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

1968 Champion 7ECA Project, Lycoming O235, Spring Steel Gear, Scott 3200 9900 (CITABRIA). This was a one owner aircraft that was removed from service in the later 70s. Father and son were recovering and rebuilding it. The wings and fuselage were recovered and work ceased when the son was killed in an auto accident. Stored in a dry workspace for 40 years, its hardly seen the light of day. Its all original with the original Lycoming O235, spring steel gear, Scott 3200 tailwheel and wide back seat. One elevator is missing, some of the interior is missing, some smalls and the propeller. We cant find the log books and no doubt, it will have to be recovered again. I have clear title so I can offer you a good bill of sale, there is no AW cert.

The project is located in Stewartsville, New Jersey and is currently available for US $8,900. Click here to check out the listing on eBay.

1950 Cessna 170A Project For Sale: “Tons of Upgrades”

Please Note: This is an archived post. The information presented here may not be current and the associated listing may no longer be active.

A 1950 Cessna 170A project has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

This 170A has a bunch of desirable upgrades (listed below) to make it a very capable bushplane. Some of the more notable upgrades include a P. Ponk Beefed Up Gearbox, Cleveland Wheels and Brakes with an Alaskan Bushwell Tailwheel, and the Aero-Trim Electric Aileron Trim. This aircraft did have a hard landing which wrinkled the skins behind the gearbox. This damage is what makes it a project, but don’t be scared! After some intensive inspection, the project doesn’t look too intensive.

According to the listing, the airframe has 2307.9 TT and the Continental C-145-2 engine has 3445.9 TT, 1345.9 SMOH and 728.9 STOH. The project is located in Greeley, Colorado and is currently available for US $40,000, although offers are also being accepted. A 1962 Piper PA-22-108 Colt has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

1285 SMOH; 4098 total Time. The logbooks are complete… The last annual done was 4/16/1994, it has clocked 146 hours since that annual… The fabric looks to be in pretty good shape there is paint chipping on the outside of it but that’s just the outer coat of paint. The fuel lines are rotten and will absolutely have to be replaced aircraft cannot be flown. The fuel mixture cable is stiff I was starting to get it freed up but it will probably need replaced. The throttle cable is operating properly. The starter is operating properly and the motor cranks just fine.

The aircraft is located in Dalhart, Texas and is currently available for bidding. Click here to check out the listing on eBay, which includes a number of additional photos.
