Allison-Powered, Full Dual Control 1999 Yak-9UM Offered For Sale

A 1999 Yak-9U-M (S/N 0470406 / HB-RYA) has hit the market.

The airframe reportedly has 489 TSN, while the Allison V-1710-111 engine has 48 hrs TSO (installed in May 2017). It spins a Hamilton Standard Division, 23E50-495 propeller with 375 hrs TSO.

The machine is described as a limited production two-seater with a full set of dual controls, a new engine, additional wet wing tanks and aileron trim. Additional avionics and equipment include a Garmin GNS 430 with 8.33 radio, Garmin GTX 328 (transponder), Shadin Fuelflow and COM 2 – Microair 760w.

1997 YAK 9-UM S/N 0470404 (N6373Y) is available for sale with a newly reduced price.

The airframe reportedly has 603 hrs TTSN while the Allison V-1710-111 engine has 300 hrs SMOH by Vintage V-12s. The machine is described as two-place with full dual controls, custom radiator, upgraded landing gear and doors and an avionics package which includes Garmin SL40 Comm, Garmin transponder and Garmin 296 GPS.

A spares package is also available for an additional cost which reportedly includes props, extra radiator and oil coolers, wheels and brakes, hardware, Allison engine (core) and custom tools.
