Eduard has released a new, limited edition P-51D VLR (Very Long Range) “Tales of Iwo Jima” model kit in 1/48 scale.
The offering (11142) focuses on aircraft from 15th FG, 506th FG, 21st FG that flew so-called “Very Long Range” missions from Iwo Jima to Japan. It includes Eduard plastic parts and decals, pre-painted photo-etched parts, a painting mask, resin wheels and a pin bearing the emblem of the 78th Fighter Squadron.
