Build Log: Peanut Scale Fokker Dr.1 Triplane (Video)

The latest video build log from DX Modelworks focuses on a 13″ span Fokker Dr.1.

The model is built from Lee’s Hobbies plans and is a beautiful representation of the iconic triplane design. This particular build sees the model modified and enhanced with extra details. The video concisely details the project, and like the channel’s previous videos, its photo documentation and tips will likely be helpful to both new and experienced modelers alike.

Homebuilt, Experimental Fokker Monoplane Project Offered For Sale

A Fokker experimental homebuilt project has been spotted for sale.

The aircraft is labeled as a Fokker D.VI 1/2 (N821-72), although it appears to be based on the Fokker D.VIII. The listing states:

Aircraft was groundlooped and has damage to include both ailerons, left wheel, and elevator tips. Designed originally for a 85 horse Continental. Engine and propeller are not included. Logbooks will come with the aircraft. Wings do fold for trailering.
