Eduard has released a new ProfiPACk edition Spitfire Mk.IIa model kit in 1/48 scale.

The kit (82153) includes Eduard plastic parts and decals, pre-painted photo-etched parts, a painting mask and marking options for five machines. Liveries represent P7881 flown by S/Ldr. Michael L. Robinson, CO of No.609 Squadron; P8387, flown by Sgt. Stanislaw Blok of No.315 (Polish) Squadron; P8038, flown by Fl/Lt. Brendan E.F. Finucane DFC of No.452 Squadron RAAF; P8081, flown by Fl/Lt. HK’s new 1/48 B-17F model kit has been spotted for sale.

As previously reported, the offering (01F002) includes marking options for the famous “Memphis Belle” as well as “Old Faithful” of the 358th BS / 303 BG. It spans 658 mm, measures 474 mm in length and includes 254 parts.

Full-scale fiberglass P-51 and P-47 reproductions have hit the market.

Details are limited, although the reproductions are designed to be mounted on poles and were positioned outside the recently closed 100th Bomb Group Restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio.

Tamiya has announced the upcoming release of a new tool McDonnell Douglas F-4B Phantom II model kit in 1/48 scale.

The offering (61121) is described as an accurate depiction of the machine’s complex form based on research of the actual aircraft. A few features have also been provided:

Outer wings can be assembled folded or extended, and right and left tailplane move in concert. Choose between open and closed canopy, and expanded or stored refueling probe and boarding ladder.

A series of images have been released showing a tentative prototype model with panel lines accented and transparent canopy parts partly painted. it appears there is no release date at the moment, as “the kit is still being finalized as we speak.” Click below to check out additional photos.

Excellent 1946 Aeronca Champ. 7AC to 7BCM conversion done in Jan ’00, with new Ceconite fabric, paint, continental 0-200 conversion and 5 gallon each wingtanks. Engine was overhauled in 2015 by Jewell Aviation after a starter drive came apart, everything except the main cases was replaced. See photo. Has skytek lightweight starter. Millennium Cylinders. 69 hours since major. Less than a year old trig TY91 radio with intercom. Front stick has PTT. Runs great, flies great. Still light sport eligable. A 1947 Beech Bonanza with “low low hours” has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

This is the barn find of the year. This bonanza has 1900ttaf and 900 smoh prop is 900 as well. found in hanger in Arizona with a inch of dust on it. the plane was bought as a flying example of a nice bonanza by a iunrated pilot that was working on his private. he took out the interior to have it redone and he took out the gauges in the panel to redo the panel in 1979 and of coarse he never reinstalled the stuff but he bought all brand new cables and gauges to go back in i have every nut and bolt and new cables and gauges to go back in. this plane has zero corrosion and is all original from 1979 i have all log books the engine runs smooth and starts right up i am in process of in depth annual. All new tires and tubes gear swings nice this is a very orig bonanza just waiting for someone to put the interior back in and put panel gauges in. Other than that it just doesnt really need a anything. no annual since 1979 very good low time plane that just needs a few things and you have a 50k plus airplane
