Fully Restored 1944 Goodyear FG-1D Corsair Offered For Sale

1944 Goodyear FG-1D Corsair N11Y (S/N 67087) wearing the colors of VF-17 “Jolly Rogers” has hit the market. The listing states (in part):

Goodyear Corsair 67087 was built by Goodyear Aircraft Corporation in Akron, Ohio in 1944. In the 1960’s it was sold to the Fuerza Aérea Salvadoreña and was used as a spares ship. Returning to the United States in the 1980’s, it was completely restored by Antique Aero of Rialto (later Paso Robles) CA.

The airframe has reportedly amassed 330.4 hrs since restoration by Antique Aero, while the Pratt & Whitney R-2800 CB3 engine has 164.8 hrs SMOH by Precision Engines.
