This is a 1947 Stearman A75 famously owned by Walt Pierce it has Pratt & Whitney 985 engine with a little over 300 hours, airframe time is a bit over 8k the propeller having a 2023 overhaul. This Stearman has had both bottom wings redone in 2022 aircraft need to be finished theres a lot of extra parts that will go with the airplane everything is there to complete the build all records and logs are complete unfortunately I don’t have the time to finish the aircraft rather it goes to a good home.

De Havilland Gypsy queen aero engine as removed from the aircraft. Flight time expired but lots of life left for fitting into a vintage car chassis. Complete other than the starter motor. Air cooled approximately 11LTR,400HP, 6 cylinder, dry sump which with some modification would enable the engine to run with the pistons at the top. There are lots of 4 cylinder Gypsy engines that have been inverted running in VSCC cars.

A 1947 Stinson 108-2 Voyager airframe has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

1947 Stinson 108-2 Voyager airframe, 3,259 TT, flipped on back, Clevelands, cheap!… This airplane has been converted from the original (marginal) wheel and brake system to the modern Cleveland wheels and brakes to stop after a very short ground roll when required. Unfortunately, this airplane suffered damage as a result of a ground loop gone bad, and those strong brakes helped to tip it over onto it’s back!… Inside, most of the flight instruments are installed… and all of the engine instrumentation is intact, but the avionics have been removed. The engine and it’s accessories have been removed and are not included, but the engine mount and engine control cables are intact. Sold with logbooks since brand new in 1947 til the current annual, which just expired November of 2022.

1943 Fairchild PT-26A, 1,657 TT AF&E, 1052 SMOH/237STOH Ranger 200 H.P., lower gear legs damaged, 95% undamaged, complete, annual just expired 7/2022… this aircraft suffered damage to the lower main landing gear when it went a little cross country during a cross-wind takeoff… This is almost a total bolt-on repair project, and the airplane will fly again! Or buy it cheap here and use as a display, set dressing, or as a museum exhibit… not a sitter or ramp queen! Logbooks are included since 1946 to the present.
