A 1968 Mooney M20C has been spotted for sale.
According to the listing, the aircraft has 7,378 total airframe hours and a Lycoming O-360 180-hp engine with 511 hours since a 2019 new-limits overhaul. It features newer paint, modern gray leather interior, O&N fuel bladders, upgraded tinted windows and one-piece windshield, and a recently installed BendixKing AeroCruze 100 digital altitude-hold/wing-leveler autopilot with Level mode.
The aircraft sustained a minor runway excursion after a broken rudder-pedal/nosewheel steering rod; the propeller tips contacted the ground, but the seller reports no airframe, firewall, cowling, gear, or visible engine damage. It requires replacement of the steering rod, propeller repair or replacement, and engine/propeller inspection before flight.
Radios have been removed and are not included, though wiring and trays remain intact. It includes complete airframe, engine, and Hartzell propeller logs, FAA bill of sale, airworthiness certificate, keys, and 30 days of paid hangar rent.
The aircraft is located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and is currently available for US $29,950 although bids are also being accepted. Click here to check out the eBay listing, which includes additional photos and details.
