1969 Hawker Siddeley Harrier XW175 (VAAC) is available for sale. The machine is touted as a “significant benchmark airframe” with many claims to fame:

Oldest 2-seater Harrier in existence; Longest serving Harrier ever; 1969 to 2008 last flight: Staggering 40 years service; The last fixed-wing aircraft to launch from HMS Invincible; First Harrier to achieve more than 100 ski jump ramp launches; Only surviving example of a development batch two seat V/STOL ground attack and reconnaissance fighter/trainer. Built to specification: SR(A)386; First 2 seat Harrier to take off from a ski jump launch ramp in August 1977; Flown by great test pilots such as John Farley and Justin Paines; Only Fly-By-Wire Harrier ever; Cutting edge research aircraft used for trial supporting Joint Strike Force (JSF) and other platforms; In July 2019 it celebrated its 50th birthday.

According to the listing, all sensitive trials equipment and items of US origin have been removed from the aircraft and it has been reverted back to all British spec designated as Harrier T4A. “Combat Flown” Harrier Cockpit Section Offered For Sale

A “combat flown” Harrier cockpit section has hit the market. The listing states (in part):

Selling A Vintage Used 15 Ft. X 8 Ft. section of an Original AV 8B Harrier Aircraft flown in combat missions by Capt. C. A. Haggard. Aircraft Serial Number 163179. Comes with 2 dolly wheel casters under it. Can be rolled around. It comes with the deployed parachute in a box, and also the down draft Titanium Vertical Turbine discharge.

Harrier GR3 XZ132 has hit the market. The listing states (in part):

Classic British Cold War Iconic Warbird. Rare opportunity. Ideal investment portfolio piece. Described in the press as being in ‘Time capsule condition’. XZ132 has great provenance serving with all the RAF Harrier Squadrons inc RAF Germany during the Cold War, Belize and the Falklands. XZ132 was one of the aircraft prepared for operation Corporate to retake the Falklands Islands in 1982. Over 50kg of paperwork included. Rolls Royce Pegasus Mk103 included. Externally complete. Cockpit very complete with the original Mk9A ejection seat installed (inert). Last flown: 8/10/90. Total Hrs: 3193

The machine, located in Selby, United Kingdom, is described as “decommissioned Ex UK MOD surplus equipment and not sold as airworthy.”
