A-26 Invader N26VQ (S/N 41-39486) is currently available for sale as a disassembled project aircraft. The listing states (in part):

Many many New old stock parts. Has a semi truck trailer included with the aircraft to move. Original configuration. No logbooks, some military paperwork. No inventory list. Spent a lot of time in dry storage in Nevada.

“Complete” A-26B Invader Project With “Lots of Extra Parts” Offered For Sale

A 1941 A-26B Invader project (S/N 41-39486 / N26VQ) has hit the market.

The listing states that the project is a complete aircraft with lots of extra parts that is in need of full restoration. There is reportedly no inventory list or log books but there is some military paperwork.

This aircraft was a Missouri Air National Guard airplane. (MO- ANG) which is believed to be deployed in World War II and Korea. After the war the aircraft flew privately for transport aircraft Inc. in the 1960s. As the story goes the aircraft suffered a hydraulic lock on the number one engine wile on start up. Ultimately which led to the aircraft’s demise, it was parked and never flown again.

Restored and flying regularly with extensive combat history in Korea. Flak damage, wounded crewman. New paint in markings she had in Korea 1952. New glass nose. 1944 A-26B Invader C-GWLT Offered For Sale

A 1944 Douglas A-26B Invader (S/N 44-34778 C-GWLT) has hit the market. The listing states (in part):

This Douglas Invader was delivered to the U.S. Navy and designated as a JD-1D. Its first civilian owner was Raytheon who used them for radar and missile systems testing. In 1974 it was sold to Airspray in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada who operated it as Tanker 98. In 2006 it was sold to its current owner.

The airframe has reportedly amassed 4438.2 hrs TTSN while the two Pratt & Whitney R-2800 engines have 0 SMOH and 1059.5 SMOH. The machine is located in Manitoba, Canada and is currently being offered for $350,000. Click here to check out the complete listing.
