A 1942 Stinson L5 “entry level warbird” (S/N 42-14835-A / N8224P) has hit the market. The listing states (in part):

This Stinson L5 flew for the CAF for a number of years. She has less than 800 hrs on the airframe and engine since full restoration. The Lycoming 0-435-1 was purchased in 2015 and was top overhaul after it with chromed cylinders and new rings. It only has approx 20 hours on engine since top overhaul and burns about 1/2 qt of oil per hour. Latest compression check done Aug.2018 all cylinders 75/80 or better. New ACK model E-04 ELT, New ELT battery good till 6/23. New Trans Cal encoder. Trimble TX 760D comm and King KT 76A transponder. Dave Clark Intercom. New Concord Battery. Many spare parts. Completely restored from 1996 to 2005. Fabric is very good. Always hangared. Annual completed 8/2018. Transponder and encoder check 8/ 2018.
