Four examples of the Hawker Hunter have been spotted for sale, including an F. Mk6A, T. Mk7, T. Mk8A, and T. Mk8C.

The F. Mk6A (ZU-AUJ / XE653) first flew in 1956 and reportedly spent nearly five years with 111 Squadron’s Black Arrows display team. It was one of 22 Hunters that performed the record-breaking formation loop at the 1958 Farnborough Air Show. According to the listing it is powered by Rolls Royce Avon Mk 207C – 15 stage axial flow turbojet rated at 10 200 pounds of thrust.

The T. Mk7 (ZU-LEE / XL613) is a two-seat variant of the famous Cold War fighter.

The two-seat Hunter T. Mk8A (ZU-CTN / XF967, pictured above) was originally constructed by Hawker Aircraft Ltd as an F4, but was converted to a T7 and then a T8B by the same company. It apparently served with several Buccaneer squadrons as a pre-trainer and reportedly features a student instrument cluster which is the same as the Lightning and Buccaneer.

The T. Mk8C is an arrestor hook-equipped naval trainer/operational variant of the type fitted with side-by-side seating. According to the listing, this machine (ZU-ATH / XL598) performed its maiden flight in 1958 and served with the Royal Navy’s major training establishments, 738 and 764 Squadrons. It is reportedly equipped with a Rolls Royce Mk 12201 turbine engine.

Pricing for each aircraft is available on application. The listings can be found here (F. Mk6A ZU-AUJ / XE653), here (T. Mk7 ZU-LEE / XL613), here (T. Mk8A ZU-CTN / XF967) and here (T. Mk8C ZU-ATH / XL598).
