1962 Piper PA-22-108 Colt For Sale

A 1962 Piper PA-22-108 Colt has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

1285 SMOH; 4098 total Time. The logbooks are complete… The last annual done was 4/16/1994, it has clocked 146 hours since that annual… The fabric looks to be in pretty good shape there is paint chipping on the outside of it but that’s just the outer coat of paint. The fuel lines are rotten and will absolutely have to be replaced aircraft cannot be flown. The fuel mixture cable is stiff I was starting to get it freed up but it will probably need replaced. The throttle cable is operating properly. The starter is operating properly and the motor cranks just fine.

tailwheel conversion done in the early 80s. With STC; SMOH 980, total time 3200; Fully Documented engine tear down/ inspection 90hrs SIRAN; Logged fully and all receipts; Lycoming 0235C1B Good logs back to 1961; Prop redone 90 hrs ago; Uses little to no oil with good compression; all A.D.‘s, STC‘s complied with good library of records. Current annual until Nov 2022; New Gill battery; AC does have periods of sitting in storage; Sealed wing struts by Univair; Wings were recovered last winter polyfiber system; fuselage and tail has a few touchups (looks good from 20 ft)and passes punch test. No rust or corrosion; nice interior -good digital flip radios, transponder and two-way intercom. No ADSB; all glass is good, tinted windscreen; Scott tailwheel, Cleveland brakes with toe brakes both sides , oversized tires and extra tires and wheel pants included; 6 gph and 18 gallon tank… Good dependable airplane; Great time builder.

PA-22-108. O235. Fabric redone in the 80s is in great shape. New paint in 2014. New engine (overhaul) in 2016. Day VFR equipped. King Transponder. Good Collins Comm with spare. Could use avioncs upgrade. Sharp looking and flying shortwing. Approx 4000 TT. Only 115 SMOH.
