Recovered in Paouasie New Guinee in 1974, Restauration started in New Zealand and finished in Australia by Precision Aerospace, flown in European airshows and the Lucas film Red Tails. Trigg 8:33 com, KT76A xponder encoder. nice flying aircraft.
The airframe reportedly has 425 hrs since restoration, while the Allison V1710-111 engine has aprox. 215 hrs SMOH, although the listing points out that “times change it’s flown regularly.” The machine is located in France and is currently being offered for $1,900,000.
