1963 PRE MORATORIUM CASA Jet. Last flown 2011. Twin turbo jet. This would make a great static display, parts airplane or pull the engines and put them in a project. The airplane could be made airworthy again but it’s been sitting outside for the last 10 years. I maintained this for many years until the owner passed away. Batteries are charged and it will start and run. You can taxi it. This is a pre-moratorium airplane

A 1944 Piper J3L Cub which has ” undergone a museum quality restoration” is currently available for sale. The listing states (in part):

This aircraft has undergone a museum quality restoration by Bandon Aviation (Bandon, Oregon). It received new wing spars, new sealed lift struts, complete airframe rebuild, new wing and fuselage covering, new paint, new Bendix Magnetos, freshly overhauled propeller and carburetor… registered as NC-35226 with large numbers painted on top the right wing and under the left wing. Painted in the traditional yellow and black Piper Cub paint scheme. The paint and interior are in excellent condition. The 65 HP Continental runs great, has approximately 1100 hours SMOH and 15 hours STOH. This aircraft is restored to it’s original configuration with no electrics which therefore requires hand propping. Everything on the aircraft was meticulously finished… Updated with disc brakes Aircraft will be sold with a fresh annual inspection.

1945 Goodyear FG-1D Corsair For Sale: “Damaged, All Parts Are There”

1945 Goodyear FG-1D Corsair B/N 92106 (C-GVWC) has been offered for sale.

The aircraft was built in 1945 by Goodyear and delivered to the US Navy, but did not see action in WWII. It was flown in the TV show “Black Sheep Squadron” from 1976-78 and later underwent a 13 year “concourse quality restoration” that earned the aircraft the Grand Champion Warbird – WWII trophy at EAA Airventure 2003. The machine is now offered in damaged condition. The listing states (in part):

Corsair 92106 flew regularly from 2003 until 2019 when it was heavily damaged in a landing accident in Canada. The aircraft was recovered and stored pending a decision on its fate. Recently the decision was made to offer the aircraft for sale “As Is, Where Is”.

Whilst the restoration of the Corsair will be a long and expensive proposition, all the parts are there. Many are in useable condition. An original FG-1D Corsair with continuing history is a sought after and highly desirable aircraft. Corsair 92106 presents a unique opportunity. This is the only complete and original FG-1D Corsair project which will be available for restoration in the foreseeable future.

I started to build this aircraft around 10 years ago, Permit to Fly: October 2022. This aircraft I built according to Ron Sands drawings. Valid Permission to Fly issued by LAA valid to October 2022. In total around 30 hours flight time. This aircraft is a pleasure to fly. It responds amazingly quick to aerobatic maneuvers. Red coloured Oratex cover (accepted by the LAA). MOTW: 685 kg. Tail skid. Equipped with: Altimeter, RPM, CHT, oil pressure, engine oil temperature, ASI, electric fuel level gauge. TRIG radio, TRIG mode S transponder, additional electric fuel pump

Clean airplane which had the spar and covering done 2017 (Stits poly fiber). All logs in a binder. I have original wheel pants, gear fairing, spinner (off for paint) and many extras. Garmin GPS/Com GNC250, Garmin Transponder GTX 327, Hard wired intercom and phone jacks… Heel brakes. Burns no oil. Coming up on 500 hours SMOH. McCauley cruise prop. Does 110 mph. Grandfathered in….. no ADSB required!! Daily flyer and conversation piece… Fresh annual. Battery and trickle charger installed and good for 7 hours. However, I have a wind generator just not installed yet. Many new parts I have that can be installed when needed. I buy them when available. Oil change every 20 hours. Quick drain.
