1960 Bonanza Project For Sale: “Nosegear Collapse Damage Only”

A 1960 Beech M-35 Bonanza project has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

1960 Beech M-35 Bonanza, 532 sfreman IO-470C, nosegear collapse damage only, cheap airplane!… The engine in this aircraft currently has only 532 hours total time elapsed!… Unfortunately, this aircraft suffered isolated front end damage when the nosegear actuating rod broke on landing, allowing the nosegear to fold up… not a “gear up” landing, as the mains stayed fully down and locked, so there is no belly damage, or damage to the main gear doors, or main landing gear damage!

The aircraft is located in Aberdeen, MD and is currently available for US $12,995, although bids are also being accepted. Click here to check out the listing on eBay, which includes a detailed overview of the damage and many additional photos.
