A Westland Lynx airframe reportedly featured in the 2014 Tom Cruise film Edge of Tomorrow has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

This lynx AH7 airframe was one of 2 used in the film Edge of Tomorrow. The prop comes as the photos show but without the sign. It’s has a fabricated mounting for 4 main rotor blades, these can be purchased separately.

A Funk B85C airframe that appears to bear the registration N332TS has been spotted for sale.

The machine lacks an engine and is located in Citrus Heights, California. The listing reports that it is available for local pickup and must be relocated by April 19.

1948 Lockheed f94 A Model number 2 prototype 40 ft. Long… In the cockpit, It has both seats and sticks and pedals but, no instrument panels or gauges. There are no wings or tail fins… If you want wings, T33 wings are compatible with this aircraft and they are out there and you can find them. No engine in it.

Airfix has announced the development of a new tool Hawker Tempest Mk. V model kit in 1/72 scale.

The offering (A02109) is being created with the aid of accurate scan data obtained from a surviving Tempest in a UK Museum as well as an abundance of additional research material. It will reportedly “incorporate lots of fine detail, even at this smaller scale and in areas of the design such as the undercarriage bays.”

The kit will reportedly consist of sprues and decals with 68 parts and livery options for two machines, including JN751 and JN766. It is currently slated for release in the winter of 2022. Click below to check out a selection of the newly released renderings.
