A 1953 North American T-28B parts airframe has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

This would be good for a static display, a movie prop, for spare parts for a project, etc. T-28B Serial number 54-138110. Mostly complete airframe. Includes wings, ailerons, flaps, horizontal stabilizers, elevators, vertical fin, rudder, canopy sections (some plexiglass panels are broken or missing), fuselage, most parts are there to assemble it to static display condition. NOT INCLUDED are anything firewall forward, such as the engine and mount, prop, engine cowling and exhaust, instruments, landing gear. The lower forward nose section below the lower longerons was removed to be used on another fuselage. Some smaller parts may be missing, suggest inspecting before bidding. I did not get the data plate and FAA Airworthiness paperwork, so they are not included. Sold as parts only, as-is-where-is.

MMPBooks is gearing up to release Polish Wings 31: Avro Lancaster I/III which, as the title suggests, describes the service of Avro Lancaster I/III bombers used by Polish pilots in Britain during 1941-1945.

The book reportedly features 200 photographs (many of which have not been published before) and 30 color profiles (plus top and bottom views of representative aircraft). It measures 8.2 x 11.8 inches and spans 96 pages. It is currently available for pre-order.

Airfix has provided new details on their forthcoming new tool De Havilland Mosquito B Mk.XVI in 1/72 scale.

The kit (A04023) represents the the final major bomber variant of the type and reportedly utilizes “all the latest design and manufacturing technologies available” to the team. It is currently “advancing apace” with release expected sometime this summer.

The latest information details the two liveries to be included with the kit: ML963/8K-K of RAF No.571 Squadron, No.8 (Pathfinder) Group and ML957/HS-D of RAF No.109 Squadron.
