A MiG-15UTI / SBLim-2 project has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):
Aircraft is a project/parts has 95% of the parts, missing gun bay and head rests, along with a few access panels. Had a flight certificate and was flown back in the early 2000’s. Is currently de-registered. Being sold as a parts airplane so no bill of sale. would be good for a static display or parts. Would be a possible candidate for a restoration but there is corrosion around the canopy frames that would require a massive amount of work, electronic logs are available. Engine ran about 2 years ago. I dry motored the engine recently and it cranks freely. Is currently dis-assembled and can assist in loading for a fee. Stands are not included. Bought it to restore it but purchased another in better condition.
