1940 North American NA64 Yale 3349 (S/N 64-2171), dubbed “Europe’s only airworthy Yale” is available for sale.
The “extremely rare and collectible” aircraft was “beautifully restored in 2000 by the Aircraft Restoration Company.” The airframe reportedly has 258 hrs, while the 420 hp Wright Whirlwind R-975-E3 engine has 50 hrs (zero timed on restoration).
The machine became an airshow regular in 2019, appearing at Little Gransden and Duxford’s Battle of Britain air show. It also appeared on the cover of FlyPast magazine twice.
