
Roden has released a new Heinkel He111 H-16/Н-20 model kit in 1/144 scale.
According to Scalemates, the offering (344) is a rebox with new/updated parts. It includes two marking options:
He111H-20, “black M” +KM, 4/KG53, Eastern Front, Summer 1944. This aircraft took part in a raid against US bombers B-17, dispersed at the Poltava airfield after the mission during Operation Frantic.
He111H-16, “red H” 1G+HK, 2/KG27, Eastern Front, Southern Ukraine, winter 1942/43

Curtiss P-40N Kittyhawk C-FVWC (S/N 42-104827) has hit the market.
The airframe reportedly has 172.3 hrs since restoration by Pioneer Aero Restorations (2009), while the Allison V-1710-81A engine has 12.2 hrs SMOH by Vintage V-12s (2019). The Curtiss Electric prop has 12.2 hrs. SMOH by Westpac Propellers (2019).
The aircraft includes an avionics package, a rear seat with dual controls, an interior restored to stock military configuration and Desert Air Force markings representing the P-40 flown by Canadian Ace “Stocky” Edwards.

A “damaged Second World War fighter restoration project” has been spotted for sale which is further described as an “extensive collection consisting of several Bell P-39 Airacobra combat veterans of the Pacific War.” The listing states (in part):
The main project consists of two P-39 fuselage hulks P-39D 41-6978 & P-39Q 44-3303, both of which were shipped to the Pacific theater in the Second World War. There are also parts from several D, F, L and Q aircraft and multiple identities.

A “truly one of a kind” P-51 pedal plane has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):
This is truly a one of a kind P-51 Mustang Pedal Car Reno Air Racer Boomer II. This pedal car was made from the patterns and kit sold by EAA. It was built for my husband by a wonderful homebuilder who my husband believed was the best homebuilder he ever knew. It is painted as the mustang Boomer II that my husband raced in the Reno National Air Races. Condition is very good. It has only been pedaled around inside the hangar a few times by our granddaughter and has been up on this cabinet for the last few years.

Grumman TBM-3-E S/N 53787 has been spotted for sale.
According to the listing, the machine has 3941.0 hrs AFTT and is powered by a Curtiss Wright R2600 with 461.5 hrs SMOH. It spins a Hamilton Standard propeller with 2 hrs SMOH. The listing also states:
In 2014 the Cactus Air Force Museum purchased the aircraft and flew it to their home base in Nevada. After arrival at the museum the following maintenance was performed on the aircraft by professional A&P mechanics: 1. Carburetor was overhauled. 2. L/H Magneto was overhauled. 3. Propeller Governor was overhauled. 4. All “hard” hydraulic lines were replaced. 5. All rubber hoses were replaced. 6. Correct seat was installed in bomb bay. 7. Hydraulic system was overhauled. 8. Wing folding components were installed. 9. Wing folding bushings, trunnions, and bearings were replaced. 10. Bomb bay doors were overhauled and activated. 11. Batteries were replaced with correct Alcon battery. 12. Turret was restored. 13. All flat plexiglass was replaced. 14. Dual flight controls installed.

Airfix has released their new tool Beaufort Mk.I model kit in 1/72 scale.
The kit (A04021) reportedly offers “stunning detail” and includes 159 parts with plastic sprues and decals. Two liveries are featured representing N1016, piloted by Flying Officer Kenneth Campbell VC of 22 Squadron in 1941 and L9866, flown by Sgt. John Bell Rutherford of 217 Squadron, RAF.

Hong Kong Models has released their new Avro Lancaster Mk I model kit in 1/48 scale.
The kit (01F005) is described as “easy to build,” and while smaller than the company’s previous 1/32 Lancaster offerings (B Mk.I and B Mk.III Dambusters), it is said to maintain “excellent surface detail and good enough interior.”
The new tool kit measures 443 mm in length and spans 648 mm. It includes 362 parts and marking options for two machines: W4118 of 106 Squadron, RAF and R5868 of 467 Squadron RAAF.
