A Corben Baby Ace has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):
Completed in 2007. First flown in 2011. Low time. Purchased by myself, an Airframe and Powerplant mechanic with my Inspection Authorization. Flown to TN from MI July 2021. Performed a top overhaul December 2021 and got the engine up to snuff to play with. Installed slick magnetos, shielded harnesses and new resistor spark plugs. Hand prop only, no electric system. Fires right up for your true flying, low and slow, stick and rudder, open air fun. It has 111 hours airframe and engine now. Yes, thats correct…… 111 hours! It is a fun little bird. Continental A65 engine with nice 72/42 prop. Run auto fuel if you like. Burns right at 5 gallons an hour in cruise. Cruise with this prop is roughly 80 mph at 2150 rpms. One of the most docile taildraggers I have ever flown. No surprises. Extremely well built. Great forward visibilty over the cowl on the ground.
The aircraft is located in Jacksboro, Tennessee and is currently available for bidding. Click here to check out the listing on eBay.
