A Pietenpol Air Camper A-65 has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):
…1986 “Pietenpol Air Camper.” (It’s registered as a Pietenpol, but is largely Grega GN-1 – meaning, among other things, it has a slightly wider cockpit!) Restored in 2019 by an A&P/IA, the airplane has a 395lb useful load (including fuel.) Wings and airframe are covered in Ceconite fabric. 450hrs SMOH on a reliable A65, all compressions in the 70’s. No electrical system, no starter, but a handheld radio and portable intercom are included in the sale. J-3 “Cub” style gear, with new bungees in 2022. This is a sweet little airplane that has always been hangared. Times will increase as I enjoy flying it. Conditional inspection completed October 2024… Airframe and engine logs are complete.
The aircraft is located in Newport, New Hampshire and is currently available for US $12,500, although offers are also being accepted. Click here to check out the eBay listing, which includes a number of additional photos.
