Please Note: This is an archived post. The information presented here may not be current and the associated listing may no longer be active.

A 1950 Cessna 170A project has been spotted for sale. The listing states (in part):

This 170A has a bunch of desirable upgrades (listed below) to make it a very capable bushplane. Some of the more notable upgrades include a P. Ponk Beefed Up Gearbox, Cleveland Wheels and Brakes with an Alaskan Bushwell Tailwheel, and the Aero-Trim Electric Aileron Trim. This aircraft did have a hard landing which wrinkled the skins behind the gearbox. This damage is what makes it a project, but don’t be scared! After some intensive inspection, the project doesn’t look too intensive.

According to the listing, the airframe has 2307.9 TT and the Continental C-145-2 engine has 3445.9 TT, 1345.9 SMOH and 728.9 STOH. The project is located in Greeley, Colorado and is currently available for US $40,000, although offers are also being accepted.
