Eduard to Release New Tool Wolseley Viper S.E.5a Model Kit

As part of their 2017 line of products, Eduard has announced the release of a new tool Wolseley Viper-powered S.E.5a model kit in 1/48 scale.

The Viper was produced by Wolseley Motors, Ltd. as an improved version of the popular Hispano-Suiza engine, offering an increased compression ratio and a second oil pump which resulted in both increased RPM and horsepower.

The kit will reportedly be offered as a ProfiPack Edition containing plastic sprues, mask, clear parts and Waterslide decals. Based on the images that have been released so far, it appears that liveries will include C1096, flown by HJ Burden of 56 Squadron, and C1149, “Schweinhund”, flown by Capt. Grinnell-Milne, also of 56 Squadron.

Release is currently set for March 1. Click below to view additional images.

UPDATE (2/10/17): All liveries have now been announced and can be seen below, along with build photos (without surface finishing).
