A 75% scale Spitfire reproduction has hit the market.
The aircraft (VH-XST) is described as being “only 70 hours ‘old,'” equipped with a Jabiru 6 liquid-cooled engine with several Rotec mods and spinning a Airmaster propeller with carbon fiber blades by Warp Drive.
The machine reportedly carries a certificate of airworthiness in the experimental class and can be easily shipped, as the wings separate leaving the machine on its own wheels. It is located in Perth, Western Australia and is said to be hangared at Jandakot airport.
The current asking price is US $105,000, although offers are being accepted. Click here to check out the complete listing.
